Il y a eu aussi \u00ab <em>Les Convoyeurs attendent<\/em> \u00bb, d\u2019un autre Namurois, Benoit Mariage o\u00f9 il pousse son fils \u00e0 battre un record du monde absurde et qui se retrouve aussi \u00e0 Cannes (1999). Avec le m\u00eame Beno\u00eet Mariage, il a \u00e9galement tourn\u00e9 un court m\u00e9trage, \u00ab <em>Le Signaleur<\/em> \u00bb, qui, d\u00e9j\u00e0, \u00e9voque l\u2019univers des kermesses cyclistes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Ben\u00a0\u00bb a appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 toutes ces aventures, mais il ne veut plus \u00eatre simple acteur, il veut \u00eatre impliqu\u00e9 dans le sc\u00e9nario des films qu\u2019il va jouer. Une \u00e9pop\u00e9e qui va se tourner en divers endroits de la France (dont le Mont Ventoux) mais aussi en Belgique, \u00e0 Namur, \u00e0 Jemeppe-sur-Sambre et \u00e0 St-Sauveur dans le Hainaut, principalement.<\/p>\n<p>Une grosse production donc puisqu\u2019en 2000, il faut reconstituer les courses cyclistes de l\u2019\u00e9poque d\u2019Eddy Merckx. Il faut r\u00e9unir des dizaines de v\u00e9los \u00ab\u00a0vintage\u00a0\u00bb (on retrouvera des stocks de v\u00e9los Splendor notamment) mais aussi recr\u00e9er les maillots de l\u2019\u00e9poque (Molteni, Gan, Bic, les \u00e9quipes mythiques). Ils auraient aim\u00e9 qu\u2019Eddy Merckx en personne figure dans le film. Un moment int\u00e9ress\u00e9, le champion des champions cyclistes fera toutefois marche arri\u00e8re, n\u2019appr\u00e9ciant pas que certaines s\u00e9quences \u00e9voquent ouvertement (m\u00eame si de fa\u00e7on burlesque)\u2026 le dopage.<\/p>\n<p>Et donc Poelvoorde va jouer Ghislain Lambert. R\u00f4le qui va lui demander une \u00e9norme pr\u00e9paration. Tout d\u2019abord parce qu\u2019il n\u2019est pas un sportif dans l\u2019\u00e2me. D\u00e9j\u00e0, il doit affiner sa silhouette. Ensuite parce qu\u2019il y a tout un apprentissage\u00a0: <em>\u00ab\u00a0Pendant des semaines, je suis all\u00e9 apprendre \u00e0 me tenir sur un v\u00e9lo comme un cycliste pro et rouler en peloton avec des types aguerris du genre increvables. J\u2019y ai pris go\u00fbt. A un moment donn\u00e9 d\u2019ailleurs, j\u2019ai cru que j\u2019\u00e9tais en forme et j\u2019ai mis une petite attaque\u2026Je l\u2019ai vite regrett\u00e9\u00a0! Je me suis fait d\u00e9passer et larguer dans la minute suivante. Et puis il y a eu la descente. Mon v\u00e9lo \u00e9tait accroch\u00e9 \u00e0 un v\u00e9hicule et j\u2019\u00e9tais le nez sur une cam\u00e9ra qui me filmait en gros plan. On m\u2019a tract\u00e9 comme \u00e7a pendant des kilom\u00e8tres, dans les lacets du col ! \u00ab Une prise mais pas deux \u00bb ai-je dit au r\u00e9alisateur \u00e0 l\u2019arriv\u00e9e<\/em> ! \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Au bout de l\u2019aventure, ce film a chang\u00e9 sa vision du monde du v\u00e9lo\u00a0: \u00ab<em>Avant le film, le cyclisme n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas du tout ma tasse de th\u00e9. Et puis \u00e7a a \u00e9t\u00e9 une vraie d\u00e9couverte. Je ne m&rsquo;attendais pas \u00e0 ce que \u00e7a me touche \u00e0 ce point. Je ne sais pas trop comment vous expliquer \u00e7a, je trouve que c&rsquo;est un sport int\u00e9rieur. Moi je suis d\u00e9j\u00e0 un grand nerveux, le fait de p\u00e9daler et d&rsquo;aller jusqu&rsquo;au bout de ce que l&rsquo;on fait a quelque chose qui vous calme.\u00a0 Aujourd&rsquo;hui c&rsquo;est Et donc j\u2019ai cr\u00e9\u00e9 celui de Ghislain Lambert, un film que j\u2019adore depuis que je l\u2019ai vu au cin\u00e9ma, \u00e0 sa sortie. J\u2019ai m\u00eame un maillot Magicr\u00e8me\u00a0!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qu\u2019est-ce que vous lui trouviez au film\u00a0?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FG\u00a0: Je trouve que c\u2019est le meilleur film qui existe dans sa fa\u00e7on de montrer le cyclisme. J\u2019en ai vu d\u2019autres genre \u00ab\u00a0La grande boucle\u00a0\u00bb mais c\u2019\u00e9tait beaucoup moins touchant et cr\u00e9dible. La bonne id\u00e9e est d\u2019\u00eatre parti d\u2019un petit coureur, pas un champion qui va gagner cinq tours de France. Cela donne un point de vue plus humain et plus attachant. Et puis il y a toute une restitution de l\u2019esprit des kermesses et de la passion du v\u00e9lo qui est soign\u00e9e et r\u00e9ussie. Ce n\u2019est pas un film qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 un grand succ\u00e8s, mais il a s\u00e9duit tous les passionn\u00e9s de v\u00e9lo. D\u2019ailleurs sur les courses, on entend crier \u00ab\u00a0vas-y Ghislain Lambert\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 ceux qui sont \u00e0 la peine. Beaucoup d\u2019entre eux me saluent encore souvent quand je me prom\u00e8ne en bord de Meuse. Sans doute parce que le film montre une \u00e9poque b\u00e9nie du v\u00e9lo, et qu\u2019il est \u00e0 la gloire d\u2019un loser.
