Des hommes politiques et issus de milieux divers ont man\u0153uvr\u00e9 pour que ce grand chantier voie le jour.\u200a Finalement, au lieu d\u2019une autoroute, ils en ont obtenu deux (E411 et E25).<\/p>\n<p>Alors que 1977 sonne le glas de l\u2019usine sid\u00e9rurgique d\u2019Athus, et engendre le licenciement de 1700 personnes, des n\u00e9gociations vont bon train depuis quelques ann\u00e9es pour qu\u2019une autoroute traverse le vaste territoire du Luxembourg belge. Morceau par morceau, les tron\u00e7ons vont finir par former une seule et unique autoroute, dont le dernier tron\u00e7on, celui de L\u00e9glise-Habay, a \u00e9t\u00e9 inaugur\u00e9 le 5 d\u00e9cembre 1988.<br \/>\nL\u2019inauguration de l\u2019E25 suivra en 1989.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis, la province de\u00a0 Luxembourg semble \u00eatre un peu moins le cul-de-sac du royaume.
